dbkwn. Get the Chronicles if you can, there's some great humour in some of them, and a couple of just plain epic storylines, well worthy of a novel. HoMM 2 is the best, but number 3 is really good as well. You can't go wrong with either one. If you like the gameplay of one of them I advise you to buy both eventually :)
